Degash is a Telegram bot platform for weddings and events in Ethiopia. Couples and organizers deploy a custom Telegram bot for their event — guests send wishes, share photos live, view the venue, and receive countdown reminders, all without installing any separate app.

Ethiopian weddings are deeply communal events, but the digital experience lagged far behind the tradition. Guests arrived without venue info, photos scattered across WhatsApp threads, and couples had no central way to collect messages from everyone who attended.

A custom Telegram bot deployed per event. Guests join through a shared link and access everything: ceremony location, live photo sharing, wishes and messages, event countdown, announcements, and reminders — all inside an app they already use, with zero downloads required.
